Electrical connectors.

Evening all,

Can anybody identify what type of connectors these are?

And what I need for these?

First one looks like a hydraulic switch in your brake system?
Second one all the same colour so some sort of busbar?
Third one again all the same colour so some sort of in cab busbar earth point?
Wires with your hand cant see what they go into?
Gearbox turret switch is reverse switch
Alloy rad looks like a built in cooling fan cut in/out sensor/switch?
Last pic plug for the elec fan

Most look like the standard type connectors that come in most vehicles.The blue one looks like an after market " scotch block type " connector where wires are squeezed into a narrow steel strip. Known trouble spots.

Do you want to know the name of the connectors or where they go.

Square black one is a "junior power timer" connector. Commonly used for injectors and temperature sensors.

The blue and white connectors are standard Land Rover header connectors (don't know the make) and are used as a bus bar instead of a spliced joint. Used to collect e.g. all the left indicator wires together or several earth connections. They can be disassembled if necessary unlike a splice.

The one on top of the gearbox is the reverse light switch: standard 1/4" insulated blade terminals here. The other two use the same type of terminal and can be found here: http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/product.php/613/multi-connectors-6-3mm

Sorry for the late response but it’s daddy day today...

So, am I right in saying instead of splicing all these joints I.e earths, all the white wires etc I could just buy these bus bars and use those instead?

It was the name/type of connectors used but obviously there are some good suggestions now

Whilst we are on the subject, fuse/ relay holders... I’ve bought one but not keen on it, is there a good replacement one that fits in the existing space?

Not sure where you are in Kent? but theres the kit car place over Staplehurst, car builder solutions.

Superseal make nice tidy connectors, waterproof as well.

Funny enough, the one I bought was from car builder solutions, not saying it’s bad quality or anything, I just don’t think it’s going to fit that well
