Electric Range rover classic seats - manual conversion??

A mate of mine wants rid of his RRC seats, they're electric. And I want to put them into my disco 1, with manual seats. I know how to fit them into my disco, question is can I convert them to manual using my old disco seats?

Think the switch is in the centre console so wouldn't be that easy to fit...

The controls are attached to the seats on my '93 RRC.

Oh is it? That would be a lot easier.. It's an '88

Electric seats have eight functions/movements how may does a manual seat control have ?

Uhh... four i guess. Or six including lumbar support.

So backwards forwardsof the seat and backwards forwards for the rake of the backrest, so the answer is you may only be able to use those functions manually.
I didn't include the lumber support as that is manual

If you put electric RR seats in a Disco you need to cut the cross member off the frame and fit two new ones which are wider and they also need to be spaced further apart. Also the RR seats are taller on the base so the new X members need to be a tad lower or as in my case you will be sitting too high and looking at the sun visor.
The rear seats are a straight swap but you need to change the locking lug for the Disco item as it is bigger.
