Hi all,
I just came back from 5 days of travel and found my battery so dead that even the clock had stopped. I jump started the car, after which the window lift wouldn't work and the driver's side door lock wouldn't operate. "door open" was showing on the display.
After a while of driving, getting the battery back to full voltage, the lock and window sorted themselves. Today though, I noticed when pulling up to a light that one or several relays inside the drivers door were clicking away frantically and without any particular frequency. It seemed to affect them whether I was accellerating or slowing down, suggesting that there's an inertia switch somewhere or a very loose connection.
Do the cables tend to brake where they flex when the door is operated?
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Henrik
