As far as I'm aware, the EKA code cannot be changed without a special software module for the Faultmate Extreme costing an arm and a leg. A Nanocom will allow you to enter the EKA code I believe, but not change it.

My Nanocom and Foxwell can change the EKA codes. I’ve done it in plenty times on Disco 2s.
So, tell me how you are going to unlock the BECM. It's locked when it leaves the factory and only the SM035 module for the Faultmate Extreme MSV 2 has direct access to unlock it.
You can enter the EKA code with Nanocom instead of using the key, you cannot change the EKA code with Nanocom if the BECM is locked as all are, and since the Nanocom cannot unlock the BECM, it cannot change the EKA code.
