Egr valve module

Hi Chaps
Started to hear a loud buzzing from the engine bay and discovered it was coming from the Egr module.
I have blanked off the Egr valve so is this module still required?

If so will it be a replacement unit,more cash

Get an egr removal kit instead. £28 from Paddock. Also check the 3 vacuum hoses that go to the turbo boost modulator. They can split or rub on stuff and get holed.

unplug it clog the vacuum feed and you can remove it cos it has no purpose with blanked EGR...that's why it started buzzing cos as the valve is gone the ECU kept it under tension all the time and it got tired
