Took my egr valve off the other day after reading up on it on here, got to say it done what every1 was sayin i'm now gettin better fuel economy and a tad more power so well worth doin if you've got the time and knowledge to do the job took me about 30 min's and that's makin my own blankin plate my disco's a 94 plate and gettin on a bit now so need's all the help it can get lol..

Now you've done that, give the inter cooler a clean out with petrol, see how much **** comes out. Very easy to remove and you will notice the difference when it's done. Make sure the inter cooler is totally dried out before refitting.

Hi,
I just put a post on the TD5 section looking for some more info about this modification.
How much difference are you finding MPG wise?
You could also do with removing the CAT and fitting a straight through pipe (not an MOT issue if removed), which will show a bit more of an improvement.
