Have just capped my EGR by inserting a steel blank between the flanges of the flexible exhaust and manifold inlet hose, will leave for a few weeks to see what the difference is in running and MPG.
My question is, where is the control for the electrical supply can I isolate the entire EGR, ie remove a fuse prior to removal ?
My Disco is 95, Series 1 300tdi 126k on the clock
Will be removing the inter-cooler, manifold and hose for cleaning in the new year, amazed at the black oily carbon deposits/gunge in them
