So I assume they removed the cover to look at my brake fluid

Blowed if I can find the regs about the covers within the mot regs
Why would they want to look at the brake fluid? As I understand it, as long as the brakes work within the MOT regs that is all that is required.

That’s the thing , get told one thing by one person and another from someone else , lol

OP - If you check your Vin number I believe the 8th character tells you what it should be.
F means a 300Tdi non egr/cat. Now I may be wrong but I believe the F is the only
identification for a 300Tdi so you shoul get away with it.
It would seem Land rover were fitting them with out showing it on the vin number.
almost as if it was extra.
I'm only spitting really but thats what I found and my tester doesn't do the machine for gas
if I recall due to age but I'll find out on the 15th. Mine does not have a cat or egr and didn't
last year when tested.

An update on this thread. Just back from mot and car flew through. No mention of cat missing or egr delete (although my recent mod makes it look at a glance like nothings missing when engine cover in place, see photo).
I think it's going to be down to individual mot tester on how everybody fairs with their landys.

I think it's down to individual testers and how much they look hoping they might get some work.
Be interesting to see how many people get egr deletes picked up at mot time.
