Seems easy enough to fit.
Can anyone give me any advice as I'll be doing this shortly?

Hi Bob, I've done this a few times now, on both pre-facelift and facelift cars and the single most difficult bit for me is always the remove of the 2 allen head screws that hold the flexy pipe to the exhaust manifold. I've tried all the normal stuff - applying multiple dobs of Plusgas, trying heat etc etc.
In view of the TD5's engine predilection to eat manifold studs, I think the next time I have to do this job I'll take of the whole assembly assembly - flexy pipe/exhaust manifold/turbo - then I can replace the exhaust gasket and put in new quality studs; remove the webs (angle at work!!) between each port on the manifold; as well as getting much better access for removing the EGR flexy pipe retaining screws (they'll still snap off!) and installing the blanking plate.

...multiple doses of silicon oil - couple of times per day for the week before my EGR delete kit arrived did the trick for the allen bolts on mine. Thank goodness!

That is mine all done today. Took me two hours as I am not mechanically savvy but rather straight forward. As mentioned getting the Allan bolts out is an issue. I removed the viscous fan to get more access and removed wire trunking out of the way to get a better view.
Also used a heat gu on low setting to soften pipes for removal and reinsertion if removing the egr completely.

Plenty of proper releasing oil ..... and keep the WD40 for use as a garage air freshener.
I have only taken it for a test drive so can't comment on fuel saving etc but I can say that I got a wee surprise as I turned onto the dual carriage way as the pick up caused the wheels to spin and lose some traction. That was unexpected but all I do now is lay off the gas a little and it drives lovely with good responsiveness .

Def happy and well worth the £24 and hour to fit took so long due to having to remove the gasket on the inlet manifold which seemed like it was made from concrete!
I did spray the exhaust side with wd before I started and tightened the bolts slightly before trying to undo them
I did take pics so may do a quick write up as removed egr valve and sticky only has blanking plate fitting write up
