Might anyone have an idea what that might mean?
was cleaning up this afternoon still removing the odd dribble of oild from the wiring harness by the ECU.
Decided to give the unit a polish and found written on the back in in silver pen are the words.
Disco P10
took a closer look and there are no rubber washers under the 4 corner screws and they look like a bit messed up, gut feeling is that some one has been in there .. and deep.

thanks

Simon

If you look inside, it is possible that you will find something "piggybacked" onto the original pooter part of it, as i did with mine after it went wrong after I dropped it. doing exactly what you have just done, i.e. cleaning it. I had to get another one.
I'd leave well alone.
If it ain't bust don't fix it!

oh it's like real who dunnit.. so I have the EGR across the front of the engine (disconnected) and green toped injectors, shouldn't that be a EU3 (would make sense here in Switzerland) P15?

It's actually 15P but what that P10 means on your ECU only those who wrote it know for sure, without a scanner you dont even know if the injector codes are well saved or not, or it can be the wrong ECU too... you can't diagnose a Td5 like a Series 3 without the proper diagnostic equipment

eventually open the ECU and take a pic from it's PCB on the side with the two big capacitors and i'll tell you if it's MSB or NNN if no label on it, if it has a label tell me what's written on it
