After reading many of the threads relating to ECU Remaps, I have contacted Mike from Dynachip and have arranged for my TD5 to be given the treatment next week. I really am looking forward to getting this done and once the remap is in place and will let you know my thoughts on whether or not there is a noticeable difference before and after.

I had my td5 90 remapped at peterborough show, I have to say the difference is incredible.
I now have 30 bhp more better mpg and pulls my large caravan like its now a small caravan, td5 alive did mine and i am well pleased.

Hi, Mike did mine at the same time i blanked the EGR removed the mid silencer the difference is incredible. The extra demand for air through the engine caused my intercooler rubber pipe to collapse, bought a new heavy duty one from LR dealer. Changed up to 235/85r16 tyres and gearing is well balanced with the extra torque. My MPG has gone from 24 to 32MPG and most of that is local.

Tell mike Im asking after him (Les at Birnie Farm Eshott).

Hello Pat, good to hear that you pleased with the performance since you had your td5 remapped, hopefully I will be feel ing much the same way next week.

Loving the look of your 90 in the pic, I have to ask though and forgive my ignorance, but what are the two cables running from your roof rack to the bonnet?

Lets hope I don't experience the same problems with the intercooler:eek: I will be sure to pass on your regards to Mike.

What can I say but "Wow", why did I wait 4 years to have this done?

The difference is absolutely incredible. Mike turned up on time, plugged in his box of tricks and 15 minutes later, my beast finally has some attitude and grunt.

The whole driving experience has been transformed. Everything seems smoother and now when I put my foot on the go faster pedal, it does exactly that, it goes faster, the improved torque is impressive.

I will be interested to see if and by how much how my fuel economy fairs now that the remap has been done.

If any of you are considering having the remap done, I whole heartedly recommend Mike at Dynachip.

Bush cables, there for keeping branches away from your windscreen etc.

There is a little bit of a debate as to wether there legal though.

Google it.

Viezu techologies, gain about 30bhp and about 60nm of torque and there maps are fully insured and 30day money back guarantee on the td5 also good gains on the 2.4 transit engine :D

Hi mud for it
Like ginga said they are bush cables, they deflect tree branches away also good hanging your kit on after green laneing to dry.
I had just been offroading at castle donnington trees all over the place so they served there purpose
