ecu problem

is there any way to wire a rangerover ecu direct
ive changed from 3.5 to 3.9 and need the ecu wired up i have spark but no petrol into engine
i have most of the loom (in bit so all the relays are available)
does anyone know what wires i use to make the thing run
i have seen it done but dont know how
any help please

Have you got the wire from the LT swicthed side of the coil that goes through a 6.8k resistor to give a pulse to the ecu ? If this is missing the ecu will not operate the injectors.

thanks ive got that bit wired up ok and if i put 2 wires to the ecu i got it to fire what i need now it to get the thing to run all the tim is there a wire that makes the ecu live so i can run it through the ignition

i saw a stock car somone had done a few years ago but i dont know what wires to use witout burning out the ecu so any help apreciated
