I'm hoping to have some exhaust guards priced and ordered this week, now i need to also make receiver hitch type things for them to fix to.

Only problem with this, is i can make a plain bar section with no hitch fine, but if i put a receiver onto it to accept Class III fittings, then i need to get it tested to the above standard, does anybody know of any companies who do this? As i'd presume it has to be independently tested, as i've read that the receiver has to go through 2 million pushes & pulls without showing any fatigue to pass.

Any info would be helpful

If it's a lot of trouble... praps make it without the tow mount and those who need a tow mount will have to buy a guard from an existing supplier.

Yeah i dunno how much grief it will be to get it tested.

Making a receiver mount without the receiver is easy enough, and cheap as chips, and as its only got to hold the eggsauce guard its just got to be strong enough to support that.

Will be typical though that most will want a receiver hitch inbuilt too, but if the costs for me to get one tested will be too prohibitive it wont be worth it...nobody makes the proper receiver hitches anymore like the ones that came with the mantec eggsauce guard!
