Someone posted that an engine becomes addicted to it - i have never heard such a load of old guff in my life! An addiction is a human trait, it's all kakapoopy!!! No probs with it!

Oddie old bean, you are the FIRST "person" I've heard that says its okay to use it ! I think its fine but I have heard so many stories about it, does anyone actually know what effect it has ?

It has no effect. An engine can't possibly become addicted to anything, it's a fookin lump of metal!!! People with clapped out knackered old engines use it to get their engines started and their clapped out engines get more and more clapped out and refuse to start, only starting with high-octane help, and they justify this by saying their engine became addicted to the stuff - claptrap, their engine is clapped out, all this does is get it going by giving it a little boost!!!

People always try and pin human attributes on their cars but drug addiction isn't one of them!

ive been using it for 40 years on various tractor engines.... if youve got a tractor with iffy batteries a sniff of easy start will often get it running though the batteries arnt good enough to spin the engine long enough or fast enough to start on diesel.
neighbour had a tele handler that had an air leak that let the diesel drain back to the tank overnight... we used to start it on easystart... nother sniff as it died, after about 4 sniffs the diesel would get through and it would be ok for the rest of the day.
its good stuff if its used properly....
