Few pics ...

Went to Snettisham for New Year in the caravan, had a great time, but didn't get a lot of laning in, only one day!

Loads of little lanes, so these are a few pics from Hunstanton cliffs, the paraglider, to Peddars Way, to smaller local green lanes, one of which was blocked by a fallen tree and with soggy ground it was a clearance I didn't want to try so wimped out and reversed out, back through a small dry stream bed .. ;) Sent an email about it to local authority though ... ;)

Had a great time, even if only a few hours and a few miles .. going back next year, going to have a plan, and do a lot more lanes in the area, there's loads!

We sometimes come to Norfolk as we have a property on the East Coast of Mundesley.

Was wondering next time I come up if I let you know, maybe some of us could meet up for a laning day.

I have the OS Maps for the area but apart from some very small byways, there is not much I know for certain that can be driven on so I have decided not to venture alone in case I get it wrong.

No worries .. we don't go often, but I have friends over there who used to run two local 4x4 clubs .. so have a few bits of info. Send me a pm nearer the time and if we can make it we will, we love the area .. ;)

When the video was taken I didn't have a snorkel .. that's why my mates were laughing, they were just waiting for us to get flooded!

my disco (was my mates at the time) did suck some water in there but he kept the throttle down for a few minutes and it cleared after loads of steam, how it survied i dont know but it was fine

Heheheh, I like to think I used good technique, making a bow wave, thus keeping the water level below the air intake ... ;)

Good pics, been round some of these myself nr bircham mill and peddars way. If you ever go again and fancy someone else with you let us know will meet you at bircham, at least then you won;t be on your own if you get stuck! :)

Same here, post up if there are some of you going to Norfolk - I am about in Norfolk quite a lot. As long as you dont mind an old Series landie coming along :)
