over the last couple of weeks the eas wont set itself for ages after you have got in the vehicle. now normally she stands all wwek at work unlock her start up leave door open get gear out of wagon set off for about 15 minutes the light flashes on the switch to say its not set any ideas were to start

Sounds like it could be a compressor getting tired. Mine had a similar problem this time last year. I bought a compressor refurb kit off the bay (symallise?). My piston seal was pretty fubard but all working well after a refurb. Check for leaks on the system as this could be contributing to the compressor wearing out by working overtime feeding leaks.

recon block and compressor from our sponsors only been on a month hope not but what i cant work out sometimes doesnt do it strange

If car does not rise straight away in the morning air is being lost from tank over night. It takes compressor time to build enough to raise car. That would suggest to me that compressor is serviceable as such but you have a leak at NRV1. Compressor if in good condition should fill tank in five to six minutes from empty. If the block has had red O'rings fitted and the guide cones are worn on the NRVs that could be the problem. Red O'rings are to soft for this use. Guide cones wear and the seats become oval, soft red O'rings deform and split. You need harder Nitrile O'rings and replacement NRVs with better guide cones.

Of course the air could all be disappearing out of perished airbags if it drops overnight.

This is true. But if it don't go up it's also disappearing out of the tank. Maybe the refurbished valve block isn't quite as refurbished as first thought. I am not going into the leak checking ritual, people on here should know all about that by now, and check before posting so it is not gone over time and time again. Going through the obvious stuff first and eliminating it would be a logical way of going about things before asking questions.

sorry wammers dont want to waist anybodies time she doesnt drop overnight but will go and check fo leaks like datatek says once shes built pressure up no probs all day stop start so maybe like u said our recon valve block is not as recon as thought anyway 12 months warranty so maybe a phone call after been out with sqeezy bottle and soapy water thanks guys sorry to waist time

Nobody wasting time. Just go with my first answer. If the standard height lamp is flashing first start and car is not moving it has lost pressure from tank. Compressor has to pressurise tank above pressure in bags before it will rise from overnight auto level position. This at least proves that NRV2 is sealing. If you want to check for NRV1 leaking put a balloon over the exhaust silencer and leave it for a while with engine off. If it inflates NRV1 is leaking.

Hi,
I too purchased a so called refurbed block and comp from the same place as you and had to send them back. As soon as I took block out of box a load of white powder began to come out of every hole possible and when I removed the exhaust filter which fell apart on me an blew into it , it was like blowing into a pile of flour, needless to say did not even attempt to fit to my RR. The pump had silicon sealer around the inlet and there was a burnt smell at the other end, again did not attempt to fit to my vehicle. Be careful with ther so called refurbed items.

naming names would help.

Totally agree Keith,
I was new to RR ownership at the time and was having some EAS issues so I saw there advert on the bay and paid over £ 200 for the items, I did not have the confidence at the time to refurb my own so took the plunge, after returning the items I decided to have a go at refurbing my original block and pump and found it very easy.

it was time off road issue with me it worked great for a month but also ive noticed i dont think ive got it set up right regarding the height setting s so going to spend some time setting it up first then pay a visit to our freinds emmots if that doesnt work. dont live to far from them
