P38A EAS what else

My resent purchase has a few minor issues with eas
It will operate fine on its own but you operate the switch will only select full hight or accsses
any info on subject would be great

Should be able to select High, standard and access. Motorway is automatic but can be selected manually by pressing inhibit switch then selecting motorway.

Yes I know have tried with inhibit on which should allow all settings but still the same

So you cannot select standard with the switch is that correct? If so switches do fail i suppose but not very often and they are serious money to replace. Look at the 15 pin i think white connector behind the trim panel at base of passenger A post. That is the interface selector switch to ECU check it for water damage. Many cut it out and direct joint the wires with solder and heat shrink.

Yes thats right I was going to have a diagnostic test done to see what else shows up so it all can be sorted one step at a time
will be quicker than hunting for other issues with the truck
Was going to check the switch anyway when it gets a bit warmer [old git with thin blood]
But at least now I have a place to start looking
