My car height is "locked" into "Motorway" height constantly, which I find is a nice height to poodle around on.

This morning I noticed that the light was flashing on the display as the system was trying to put air in the system to lift the car (from entry to Motorway). (air top up!!).

However, the light kept flashing, when I checked the diagnostics, the pump had failed, no air at all. So whipped old one out of the skip (moving house!), this pump I had serviced but never fitted (thought it was faulty).

Fitted the pump, and although she ran for ages (I guess the tank was empty). The car now rises as normal. The pump I took off was less than a year old!!!

How annoying!!!

Left car on full height, so I can see if any air bags are leaking. :brushteeth:

Bet you being a lady were really miffed. A bloke would have been really ****ed off. :D:D:D

Rather than skipping it this is an ideal opportunity to buy a kit and refurbish it. Then you have a spare pump. You might never use it but it's one less worry knowing that it's there.
