Hi all,

Been a while since I have been on here but have a problem with my P38a eas. can anyone tell me why the suspension lowers when the doors get locked with what sounds like a rythmical pump sound from the air dryer. Going to get the diagnostic on it at the weekend but interested to see what people think it might be.

Cheers

It is self levelling and it is quite normal.

Cheers Wammers. It's just that it seems to do it even when sat level and wondered if the exhaust valve was stuck maybe. Anyway, you are the Guru and trust your judgement so many thanks.

When you are sat in the car and of any substantial weight extra air is put in the O/S bags to level the car when driving, when you get out and that weight is removed, the sensors will rise above standard setting, on closing the door the car will self level for up to 20 seconds to correct that.
