Look at fuse box relay 20 for compressor problem. Check connections to ECU for other problem.

wammers i hope you are correct i will change relay to be safe . thank you .

Whilst you're in there listen to DATATEK and have a good look and smell around the fusebox. You might be lucky and have had a gentle warning that the board is starting to fail, after all, why would the relay overheat, bad contacts in the board?

Or bad contacts in the relay that stick together. Relays get warm especially if the commutator or brushes are not at their best in the motor it is supplying. This weakens the return spring leaf. Bad contacts with a motor drawing high current can cause the contacts to fuse together.

i had a problem with the fuse box while back you may recall i had issues with cutting out i had a burnt contact going to the blue plug for the fuel pump but repaired it the fuse box was good only for that i will change the relay today so hopefully that will end my problems. thank you wammers, datatek and dogsbody
