Hi all,

Picked my 97 4.6 HSE on Friday night stopped on the way home and it looks like the EAS has packed up.

It is stuck in the lowest suspension setting with the standard setting light flashing but it does not raise up.

Any help or ideas

Cheers

Took it back yesterday got a warranty garage said they would sort it just want to know what might be wrong for future reference.

Hi 'The Dude'....I would be very interested in how this bottoms out for you....I had exactly the same problem with a newly purchased P38 (mine took a week from purchase to start)...I looked to the forum for help and there was some very helpful replies all pointing to a worn EAS Pump/Seal (you can see the thread dated 3rd Feb. 2008. My dealer has been great and is sending me a new pump for me to fit.....just wondering whether your investigations throw up anything different.

That's great news - could you do me a favour please? Could you ask them exactly what hose was loose where ...so I can check mine ....appreciate it.

Hose??, it is unlikely that the 6mm nylon tubing came loose, they are locked in place with ring clamps.

I would be interested also in the result.
