EAS - moving when door open

So, as part of my impending EAS overhaul, I have noticed that it adjusts/moves even if a door is open. This obviously shouldn't happen so does anyone have any suggestions as to why it is and what is the most likely fix?

Does it know the door is open on the dash?

Yep - it's indicated on the dash.

When you say it moves does it just move down?! Or up as well?

All doors & tailgate or just one door?

Definitely the two front doors, not sure about the rears or tailgate.

It's always been a bit slow which is one of the reasons I'm going to overhaul it all. The engineer I was visiting in Skye did notice it when the front drivers door was open, too.

Can you hear the solenoids clicking when it moves?

Yes. Bonnet was open when it was happening so the clicking was audible.
