Hi guys ive had the rr in the garage for a few days and its developed a eas problem
its sitting low on the back right
in access and motorway the rear right is on the bump stops with no pressure in the bag (I can squeze by hand)
in normal its about 1 cm off the bumpstop where as the rest are well clear
and in high its about 5-6cm clear of the bumpstop and can get my fist between the bumpstop on the rest

in the garage the rear axle was let to hang but the shocker was still attached so wasnt over streched
it seems it can lift and does but seems to be lower than it should be
any ideas!
im working with the mecanic but were both scratching our heads

There is obviously a problem with the height sensor on that corner. Disconnect it and move it through it's entire travel a few times to try and get rid of the **** it has picked up whilst hung.

If the height is changing at all then the air must be getting to the bag and if it's stopping at a height, even if the height is wrong, then the feedback system thinks that it's done it's job. So it's either the heights set in the ECU have changed - very unlikely - or the height sensor is supplying the wrong information. So it's either diagnostics or I suppose that you could, with the engine running, try disconnecting one end of the sensor and, very slowly and carefully, moving it and seeing if the bag inflates/deflates following your movement. I'm assuming that your on a ramp or similar where you'd be safe under the car - I'd go the diagnostics route!

As the air spring does not fully inflate there may be a leak that you cant detect under the fold.
Get a manual inflation valve and see if you can inflate it with that and check for air leaks if the sensor is ok,

Think I might take you up on that
just gona check the basics first though!
No point driving to Sheffield to find out the bags leaking or somthing equally daft
were abouts in Sheffield are you?
Might blag the wife and drop her at meadow hall

By diagnostic you mean the eas softwere?
Ive got this but was having trouble getting it to sync but when I went over this a few month back somone said the serial to usb might be at fault cos some cheeper ones are missing somthing
So im gona buy one after work today! but not sure what I need to ask if its got/can do
my l/top is on windows7 if that helps/hinders
Hope someone understands that lol
So you need a USB to RS232 serial adaptor with Win 7 drivers.

got my data cable working
the loged faults are

cleared the fault and went for a drive the rear right still seems low with no new faults???
did have a play with the hights and it is recorded about 10-15 points lower on the rear right corner in all the modes
so i typed in the same value as the left and it did rise leval to the left
can it loose hight settings like that? what could cause it?
im gona see if i can find somewere flat and level (yea i know on uk roads! good luck) tomorrow and set to it with a tape messure
what should the ideal hights be? messured from wheel center to highest point on arch

510 mm.

as theres not front/back messurments im assumeing fornt and back should messure the same in all modes?

Im I looking at a duff height sensor on the rear right (the problem wheel)?
Front left corner is high up but that probably because the rear right is on the bump stop
front right and rear left are about the same

ground not perfectly level
slight down hill to the front
