new lead arrived today and now the software and laptop are friends again talking like long lost brothers
The numbers are pretty meaningless, you measure from the wheel centre to the wheel arch and adjust the numbers to obtain the correct height. Right down the readings before you play.did compressor today it seems to be working well, on the eas unlock suite what are the correct sensor heights if on wading setting i have 155 fronts and rear are rl 138 rr 135 are these ok or do they have to be increased thought id better check with our resident gurus before i played with the settings and screwed it up![]()
Solenoid coils in the wrong order?just when i thought it was all done put the valve block back in this morning and the drivers side wont rise i have checked the pipes going into the valve block and no leaks there i stripped it back down to recheck the seals had seated correctly and they appear to be ok as soon as switch the engine off it dropps back to its bump stops![]()
+1 - Dopey had done same - took a few looks to ensure correct orientation...Solenoid coils in the wrong order?
no wonder folk go to coilsif you've tried them in all combinations, and are sure that there's no leaks, I would go back and double check against a diagram that they've ended up in the right places
It will be something simple. I was at the stage of buying a new driver pack (mucho £££) but then had that Doh! moment when I realised what I'd done.
Have a cuppa, breather, and take another look. It wasn't doing this before you did the valve block, and unless you unplugged the driver pack with a hammer, its unlikely it would've gone wrong while the block was on the bench.im looking at a full kit an ebay im at me wits end with it ahhhhhh knew i shoudnt have stopped smoking
i ended up being able to strip the valve block off the car, check the seals on each solenoid and back on the car in about 20 mins I did it so many times. know that feeling
As has been said many times, the EAS is really simple once you get it, and almost sure you'll have done something you haven't realised
Just one thought - did you use silicon lube on the o rings in the solenoids? It really helps them seal, and its not easy spotting a leak inside one of them![]()
nothing like a good set of airbags to play with
plit in the pump hose won't help your compressor's life expectency, but shouldn't be causing the problem you have I don't think, I would've expected the NRVs to stop air going back out of the system to the compressor
perhaps not enough air going in no presure to come out of the block or am i just wishfull thinking![]()
It has no hope if the blue hose is split.couldnt do it mate love the airbags to much just not its friend at momenton a good note i have found a split in the blue pump hose
