My eas has been playing up ever since my stainless exhaust(which wasnt stainless!!) snapped and melted the air line 2 years ago.
Six months ago I purchased the unlock software which worked great and lifted the car off the bumps . Next i purchased a second hand driver box and pressure sensor , which i still had the same results as before. It would go to max height for no reason and would take ages to fall to low level.
This morning afte doing some more research I unscewed the exhaust filter and a miricle happened. It went up and down like a yoyo and went from max to floor in about (0-60cm) 3 seconds.
I took the filter apart and full of white powder and totally blocked.
Rang around for one and this little bit of plastic with a tiny bit of filter paper is £22 . I've put a few holes in it and screwed it back in and now works fine.
Does anyone know where you can get these cheaper than this as its a p take.
Anyway if your having trouble with your EAS unscrew that first as it might save you a lot of time and money.
I now have a spare working driver and a alternator (150 Amp) spare(thought it was making a noise which turned out to be a idler wheel in stead £12 .)
