good day gents;
i was wondering if i start driving rangy using the inhibit switch,instead of allowing it to self adjust all of the time,except when exceeding 80 kms on highways....what do u think,isn't it better like that 4 the EAS system including the compressor?in that way no excessive use of compressor...:D
cheers

It only prevents the auto change to highway mode.it will still be adjusting the EAS to keep it level.I dont think there will be any significant saving on compressor wear,if any at all.

I agree. The only benefit might be to slightly (very slightly) gain control over ride and handling such as by keeping it locked at motorway height (which I sometimes do).

It will make no significant difference to compressor useage. It will also mean the height sensors move over a restricted area of their track which will not be good in terms of build up of wear and deposits.
