Eas inactive l322

Hi all,

I recently posted that my NSF eas airbag was on the bump stops the car then seemed to rectify the problem but this morning the whole eas shut down. No lights on the centre console for the ride height and the suspension inactive message on dash. I have read the fault with my FCR and it's read suspension CAN error. The NSF airbag is now lower than the others but not on the bump stop probably at motorway height. Any ideas.

I did try and spray the airbag with water and soap to see if there was a leak but I couldn't see anything. But now the suspension wont move so I can test that again as it's to low. If the airbag was leaking wouldn't it go down to the bump stops? Could i try anything else?

I don't know the L322, but a CAN error could be a communication error on the CAN bus, but it's not that simple as there are lots of devices hanging on the CAN bus and I would guess that many things from bad connections to another faulty device could block transmission on the bus. Might be worth checking fuses I suppose, other wise you will need diagnostics.

Thanks I'll give that ago.

The compressor may have overheated trying to keep the suspension up, causing the system to shut down. This will have to be re-set with the notebook.

Hi all,

Not had time to reply and have another car so it wasn't at the top of my priority list as I have a list of DIY jobs as long as my arm to complete. But I really need to sort the problem now. Does any one know the CAN BUS connection is as I think it is linked to water ingress as I never jet water cars but when Land Rover had my car in for a recall they definitely jet washed it very hard as there was a leak from the sunroof which hasn't happened again even in rain. I hope someone can help as I need to the rr back on the road.
