can any of you guys tell me how long it should take to change the height from normal to off road height ? and how long it should take to drop from normal to access height? and then from access height to normal? ive had loads of eas problems but seem to be getting to the bottom of them but everything seems a bit slow, but i dont know how quick it should should function as its never worked properly.

u mean it goes to a solid orange light in 3 secs? mines taking at least 30 secs?

Yep
Completes the whole change in height within a few seconds

Yours sounds like its taking way too long

Does it take 30 seconds even when going down from off road height to normal height ??

i changed the pump for a new one ,it made no diff , so i put the old one back on. itested them both against each other with a 12 v supply whilst off the vehicle, they both were equally powerful?

Oh so not the pump them

EAS could probably do with being re-calibrated

Mine worked quicker after calibrating it

yer i had thought abut getting it re calibrated as well, its got 22 inch wheels on i figure it hasnt been done to accomadate this, how much should i expect to pay for re calibration? dont wanna get turned over.

Yep you could be right there
If you go to a local independent land rover specialist it shouldn't cost more than £60

Or you could buy an all comms and do it yourself

Failing that someone nearby with an all comms may be able to help
Post your location someone may help you out for a few beer tokens lol

Mine takes about 20 seconds to fully settle from standard to high - main change is done in about 5 seconds, but then the final 15 or so its taken up with monor corrections...

I have new Bags fitted all round (Oct 2011), not sure on compressor, might take a gander at it.

Access to standard is about 5 seconds....

bloody hell , new bags al round. that must have hurt! maybe im not so slow after all , think ill live with it for a bit n just get it re callibrated. any one in hull with an allcoms who can help me out?

yours seems to take its time too lol

guessing you have re-calibrated :D

Wheel diameter should make no difference:)

when calibrating you have to specify wheel size.

otherwise the car will sit too high or too low.

when i put 20" on mine, it was sitting high. so recalibrated and changed the wheel size from 19" to 20" and it was much better after.

yep compressor could be on its way out
Could be - fingers crossed it can wait till the new year...

After the fuel pump, I need to change the Rad next (Pin hole caused by a stone chip by the looks of it) uses about a pint every 10 days....

The fuel pump money was what I was gonna use to change the rad...so that is delayed by a month!!
