Morning everyone.........

I am in need of some help.......

For the last few weeks i have been driving happily along and then 'EAS FAULT' flashes up....all of the lights flash and then go on solid.

I get her home and connect the handy EAS suite.....unlock her and all is fine.......for a few days or a week.

Like i said i have been doing this on and off for a little while now....

She has only dropped onto her bumps twice (with the slow 35MPH MAX message) and again i unlocked her both times....

She flashed the fault at me yesterday morning on the way to work......grabbed the laptop and yet again unlocked her.....

NOW....i was driving to work this morning and she has done EXACTLY the same thing:(....I love my rangie...btu this is getting really annoying!!

What is the best thing to do?....springs?.....Im getting a tad fed up of hearing the fault noise and unlocking it everytime!!

Please help!

It has just come up with

'pressure signal constantly high' and 'vehicle has moved'

??????
You can ignore "vehicle has moved" Pressure signal constantly high could be a lot of things from the pressure switch to the connectors in the EAS box, leaks in the system or lack of pressure from the compressor. Have a look at Wammers guide in the "How To" section.

Thanks....will do

Also a quick question...

What is the opinion on spring conversions?
Expensive, the car is not designed for springs and it may fail the new MOT if it's fully implemented. the EAS is easy to fix for not a lot of cash if you DIY.
If the airbags are original, they are almost certainly leaking. They have a design life of 7/8 years 80K miles.

Agree with all the above....

Just unlocking the system only for it to fault again is bad apples....you need to find the reason for the fault and address it....

Blindly clearing the fault won't solve the issue....

Morning all,
I've got the "pressure High" fault but only when the car has been going for over an hour.
Got the error every hour or so on the way back from the Lake District last year. Only once since-on the return part of a 70 mile one way trip,

Using the tin tent in a couple of weks so will change the pressiure switch and see what happens. (had the switch for 9 months but haven't got around to changing it).
Will use my EAS kicker if problems persist.
Will slos keep an eye out for a new compressor.

Hi, did you get to solve the problem? I also have the 'pressure signal constantly high' or 'always on'. As a remedy I have fitted new switch and with an inline pressure guage I verified by meter that the switch is working. However sometimes the comp does not come on at low pressure or not stop up to 170 psi when it should go off after 145psi. I have fitted a temp. dash mounted switch to the comp. thermal sw. wire, so I can control it when going over pressure. I checked the white connectors in the footwell but are in good shape. I also ran a cable from the press. sw. to the ecu to eliminate any connection problems. Compressor is new. My last option is driver pack but I believe it has nothing to do with pressure switch. When pressure is up the system operates fine which is further evidence driver pack is ok?

Pressure switch should be open circuit at 120 psi or below +- 7 psi and closed circuit at 140 psi or above +- 7 psi. If you have varified that the switch is working at these limits then it can only be that the signal is not getting to the ECU (or something else is influencing it). Which would under normal circumstances either power or cut the power to relay 20 pull down circuit to run or shut down the compressor as the case maybe. I don't know how or why, because the driver pack on the face of it has no direct connection to this circuit. But i believe it is acknowledged by Land rover that it can effect the operation of the compressor. So if everything else checks out that would seem to be the final port of call.
