hi been away from the landrover for a couple of years but just got my hands on a p38 2.5 dhse rangerover,
i have a problem with the susspention,
when its left for a couple of hours or so the driver side is right down, the passenger side is still up ok, when i start the engine it takes about 5 mins to get back up, when it gets up it goes all the way up to the top and stays there all the time,
all the lights are lit up on the switch, and the dash says eas fault.
any ideas, and is there any good repair centers in west midlsnds im in wolverhampton,
any advice or help would be great, mick,,,,,,

You have a leak. You need the fault codes reading. Possibly compressor a little tired.

Download the free EAS software from www.rswsolutions.com buy a cable and you will be able to read and reset the codes yourself. I agree with Wammers, you have a leak, probably one or more airbags, spray them all with soapy water solution and look for bubbles. The airbags have a life of 7 to 8 years so they will probably need replacing. Compressor may be shagged also as it's been overworked feed the leak.

WAMMERS and DATATEK must be very nice blokes in that they still reply sensibly to fresh posts like yours.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if they have developed a way of posting these replies without having to write them out each time.

Use the search facility on here and you will find innumerable threads and posts on this subject. I think there was one identical to yours within the last week.
