hi everyone, this has probably been answered several times before but here goes.
2001 4.6 vogue has started showing the eas fault on the dash . the suspension lifts up fine and settles on the normal driving position, after a few miles driving all the eas lights flash and the fault comes up on the dash.it usually drives fine but on occations it drops to the bumps and I get the 30mph warning..if I turn off the ignition for a min or so it seems to reset and goes back to normal. then a few miles later I get the eas lights again but drives fine..i have bought the cable and disc but it shows up loads of faults which according to the instructions don't really mean its that particular fault..any pointers would be great..thanks...scott

Lots of contradictory faults means you have bad connection to EASunlock. You MUST have a good idle green light at all times. It may flicker now and again whilst unit is in use but should be solid green good idle at all other times. Check your USB adaptor has the correct driver. You MUST load the USB driver BEFORE you connect unit to laptop and make sure port for that driver is used. Otherwise windows will load a generic driver that does not work.

If you bought the lead and EASunlock disc, a driver for the USB adaptor supplied should have come with it. A decent serial to USB adaptor should come with a driver disc. Some of the cheap Chinky stuff supplied from Ebay is useless.
