Evening all.
Hope someone can logically work this one out for me. I'm stumped. Although thats not difficult.
Something is not right with my EAS.
If I leave the rangie set at normal height overnight it drops to the bumpstops.
If I set the EAS to high before leaving the car, it doesnt drop at all even over a 3 day period. Jump in the car and its still set to high.
If the car is at normal height and i stop and turn the ingnition off (say to fill up with petrol) by the time I start the car again, its dropped to access height.
From access height I have to weight 5/10/15 mins with a door open before I can shut the door and the car will raise to normal height. If I dont do this it takes 20/30 mins to get to normal height as I'm driving (and twice the EAS warning has kicked in with a "air pressure fault" - as diagnosed by the EAS buddy kit)
The airbags are new Arnott gen II kit - theyre not leaking.
There are no leaks at any of the hose lines o ring points (soapy water tests)
The compressor works (checked with EAS buddy and jumping the relay)
If the car has been running for a while (over an hour) then everything works fine, car rises and lowers as required to the correct set heights.
Its not the end of the world as I now set the car to high before jumping out and it lowers fine the next day.
I would like to know whats wrong though and be able to leave the car at a normal height; or even be able to drive straight off after filling up with petrol!!
Thanks for any help!
Mark
