Lol
I wasnt saying I wanted those - just that those are figures I have seen on the interweb.

I wonder if an old Fire extinguisher would do as a reservoir?
P38 tanks are rated....
Capacity 9.7 Litres,
working pressure 14 bar,
test 28 bar.

Fire extinguisher is rated....
CO2 - Capacity 3 Litres,
working pressure 169 bar,
test 212 bar.

H2O - Capacity 6 Litres,
working pressure 15 bar,
test 28 bar.

Any thoughts?

CO2 tanks are OK but heavy, not sure about water ones , they used to have a riveted seam and were only designed to hold pressure for a short time. Butane/Propane cylinders are good, you can get lots of different sizes.

But the other key element is volume, i.e. the amount of air used each time you use the locker and the frequency of use. I would still maintain that a 12 volt tyre inflator of a suitable size would do the job with say a P38 air tank and a pressure switch. Not sure why you would need 150 psi for tyres, WTF sort of tyre requires that sort of pressure? Air tools need huge air volumes, I suggest you tow a second hand diesel Rotovane air compressor for those:rolleyes:

As it happens i have a Rotovane unit somewhere in garage and a twin stage compressor from a centurion tank, 750 psi working pressure. The latter would do everything. :D:D:D

Nah keeping it. I would feel a right prat if i ever came accross a cheap Centurion without a air start compressor.:D:D:D

I've always fancied a tank, perfect for parking in crowded cities, park on top of the nearest car:eek: Trouble with a tailgater? Crash stop then reverse over him:eek::eek::eek: Radar in the distance? Loose of a couple of rounds from the turret gun:D:D:D

Yeah true. Tank definition:- "Only vehicle that creates it's own parking bay".:D:D:D
