It is a nice idea. There used to be meet ups I'm sure?
Could perhaps tag onto the back of a Land Rover show. Have a dedicated P38 stand, BBQ's, bit of an auto jumble etc.

No need for normality if you do some gentle laning with radios and maybe a picnic. Loads of nice Green Lanes around Rutland area. Alternatively there's Bisley near Northampton. Or there's the museum up towards Brum.
