What other wing mirrors fit the earlier Freelander since I have the ones in the photo and just managed to break my 2nd left hand one by getting too close to a hedge due to it not folding. I looked at the later folding ones but the fittings seem slightly different and don't seem to bolt straight on?

I fitted folding ones to my 2000 L series and although they are manual fold (couldn't be fussed with all the wiring and conversion to make them powerfold) I just bolted mine straight on and didn't have to drill any holes whatsoever :) total job time including a cuppa and a chat about 15 minutes.

maybe I am mistaken I got a pair for the wifes 98 freelander but have not fitted them yet I just took a look and I need to get the mirrors for them
they are the non power fold but it is easy to make a wiring kit for them if need be
