early side decals?

anyone know where i can get the side decals for an early 3dr disco? not the later flag and compass type but the launch type. need them for me 1990 v8 as they been removed at some point in its life. plus how do you date the car from its vin number? as iv been told by a couple of people now that its realy early one but iv no confirmation of that exept a dash with ( jay21) written in yellow on the inside of it? i was going to gut it for its engine but its just to good to break up and id like to save it now.
by the way i dont for a minute believe iv stumbled on a jay prototype, just intrieged me is all and i want to find out its true date to shut them up
