My mate has an issue with dim headlights before I start chasing my tail does anyone know where
to start looking for faults, before we go any further he got it stuck in some water a few months ago
& the water was up to the seat base ooopps lol everything else is working properly.

Ta much :)

The first thing to check is for corrosion around any earth connections.
If it's a pre-facelift Disco and if all else fails, take a look at @The Mad Hat Man's post about re-wiring the headlights with relays and replacement ceramic bulb holders.
If it is a facelift Disco then the same method can be used but it will take a bit more thought regarding the wiring.
The main problem will be corrosion after getting it wet.
