Ear ache

Hi again all, Land Rover running fine, thanks to help from the guys on here. Now i have ear ache, The passenger front window needs replacing, as the metal running strip that runs at the bottom of the glass is broke, and the window just drops when I open it, "Ear ache" I hear you ask, that would be from the other half, its either to hot and she cant open her window, or its to cold and i have to stop to do it up. Ive tried ear plugs, cotton wool and the like. How easy is it to replace the glass along with new strip? Any replies welcome, preferably on the glass replacement. lol
