depends on the axle, probably.
S3 LWB could be rover or Salisbury, ISTR.
HBOL has the Rover type one with the filler/level plug on the front offside
(RHS) of the diff housing, above one of the stiffening webs and pointing
mostly-upwards. This type of diff has a solid casing and a ring of bolts
around the front side holding the diff in.
The Salisbury one has a removable cover on the back of the axle and the
filler/level plug in the cover, facing backwards.
