I have my 90 stripped, body cappings off.... UNDERNEATH the body cappings is the factory fit approx 10mm x 2mm thick rubber strip. A good portion will have to be replaced (the rear corners) but most of it is perfect.
My new body cappings are galvanised and primed but I am aware that alloy and metal dont agree.
Toying with the idea of removing all the old rubber.... laying a length of Duct Tape underneath the body cappings (on to the body) before putting Tiger Seal on top of the Duct Tape to try and get a good seal...... what do you think? is Duct tape that versitile? .... this is my first effort at a project.

Also... can rolls of adhesive rubber stripping be bought? I can find foam security glazing tape but that it.

Thanks for looking....
