Well he'll have to drive around on side lights if he wants to flash then. Does the stalk change from dipped to full?

No way to check actual modulation figure. Difference in how it idles and runs is astonishing. Sounded like a bag of nails until set

Yes, there's a bit in-between for flash, it's there, that 'bit' with lights off but weirdly it's not with lights on, bizarre really.

You'd have to check the wiring diagram to see where the power comes from for the flash facility.

Had another play last night in the dark, it does flash with the lights on but is very sensitive in that you can easily switch to high beam but lights off and it's as you exp

Also got a chance to try the heated windscreen this morning, covered in ice and it worked which I'm chuffed about.
Made a mental note of cold and hot starting further to my post up there somewhere^^^^
2 secs at -1 Deg cold start
Same hot.
Impressed at how quickly the heater works, got the viscose on,me 110 takes forever.

I've seen pics of message centres showing mpg? Mine hasn't got that, 2001 my. Haven't found reference to it in the handbook either.

Try being gentle it’s not a fender

the stalk should have a free movement feel for flash and feel like a switch when going to high. Your Pulling too hard.

My 97 y m has buttons on the end of the headlight stalk that brings the mpg and range up on the dash, perhaps your stalk is the root of your problems.

Yep I got that button^^^ but don’t press it cos it’s scary.

Wasn’t there some talk that not all were equipped with that function? Although I haven’t had a diesel.

mine's a diesel and has the two buttons,if you press the wrong one you set the speed alarm,sh1t myself when it won't off the first time as I inadvertently set it for 30mph.

I have the two buttons moulded in to the stalk. They dont press in and I don’t have mpg on dash or cruise control
