Just checking, when you said the timing chain had been done, you mean both the chains, yes? Anything else? Sprockets, tensioner?

With new chains you should be pretty much spot on 50% modulation at warm idle (750rpm @ 128 setting).

Only both chains and tensioner, not the sprockets.

Your welcome, good luck and steady away. ;)

Should be plenty of space to turn pump either way. Looks like garage got link count wrong crank sprocket to pump sprocket. Should be twelve raised links timing mark to timing mark. That would also put valve timing out.

My thoughts too

After all above is said, if engine runs it should still transision between idle and throttle. Rough as a bears arse maybe but still do it.
Engine seems to run fine, slight hesitation between 1000 & 1300rpm apart from that not running rough. Guess am gonna have to go with wammers on the tooth count, was what I was thinking too.
