dse.. abs light on!! ..accumulator??

Hello landy lovers.... my abs light has come on and a message flaggs up saying abs fooked.. ive had a good look back thru the forum but im not sure.. if the accumulator is knacked would that make the abs light come on?? the other thing i notice the pump(witch now comes on every time i press the brakes) is a little noisy than before.. or is this cuz its working over time cuz of the accumulator gone??? i am really confused.. as always any help would be very much appreciated... respect ...Stuart
