Drop arm nut

Defo check your splines. If its been sloppy for even a short period of time it will destroy them. Imagine needing to swerve and they strip the splines have imense pressure on them to direct the wheels. Drop arms should be bloody tight to get off as its a tapered fit but not impossible.

Personally I wouldnt bother fitting a manual box I'd just replace the PAS with another. PAS boxes are cheap nowdays and s/h they can be very cheap Ebay (everyone slags off ebay but it can be good as everyone needs money and are letting things go real cheap at the mo).

I have no real money to spend on my landy but I would try to get a PAS for it if I needed one.

I would buy a unit straight from paddocks/craddocks as long as I knew I was getting a good box. Heard a few bad storys about the ones they have.

So who makes the best PAS boxes?
