Hello!

I bought my Feelander 1 in August 2018 and somehow didn't notice that the previous owner has pinned it up to stop it hanging down because all the adhesive had failed.

Not a huge issue for me, but after the sunroof leaked, the headliner was soaked and I decided to do something about it.

A used headliner from ebay was too expensive for that I was looking at, so instead I bought some black headliner material from Ebay.

I bought 3 meters of the stuff, which at the time came to less than £30.

I pulled off the old headliner fabric from the backing, which came off very easily. I took it inside and used it as a template for the new fabric, while leaving about 2 inches extra around the edge.

I used some spray adhesive to stick it to the headliner backing but made a mistake. All of the old foam was still attached to the backing and was just pulling off with the new glue, so it all had to come off. I found a hoover with a brush attachment worked well for this, but be warned, it is very messy but wont take long to clean up.

Then I stuck it all onto the backer. I cut all the holes for things after it was stuck. I was tempted to actually not cut a hole for the sunroof because its redundant but I decided to cut a hole for it as it would let a little light through the fabric.

Overall a massive improvement, and for less than a used headliner. Door cards next! I'll post some photos tomorrow!

Does this have any stretch to it?
To apply it you don't really have to stretch it because its all stuck all over. Once its set it has some bounciness like you'd expect but obviously will lose its stretchiness because it's now rigid.

When securing around the edges, under the seals and trim, you can push it / stretch it into those places.

Hope that's what you mean :)

Yes, is it just enough to get round corners and into the original curves? Much appreciated.
