Driving without viscous coupling?

Would agree with you about the time thing. I only buy tools when they're needed, or something that will benifit over time. I have a slight knock on the front. The ears will save me a lot of time finding it. Doesn't do it often enough for it to be a problem that shows up. I was planning to flog the ears, but chose to keep them as owning a Freelander, you never know when the next fault will pop up.
