Driving Lights / Work Lamps - LED advice please

nah, just running 2 huuuuuge batteries, and one of the reasons I am slowly converting to LED lights, plus they are super bright!

Bench tested the Light bar last night.

All I can say is that is it bloody bright wasn't sure how bright 10,000 odd lumens would be, but I am impressed

Can't wait to get them all fitted now.

Got my LED's fitted on my light bar



Took me a bit longer than I thought as I decided I wanted all of the wires inside the tube, so took a bit of faffing to get the new wires for the LED markers inside, but got it all sorted...



and all working too







and then back onto the disco....

Just need to get the 7" LED spots I have seen to replace the ones on the bumper now

You can never have too many lights!


Looks really good bud. I was thinking of switching to led but like the big halogens too much, but after seeing your light bar I'm having 2nd thoughts.

That's what I always say

LED's are the way to go, trust me

These are what I have got my eye on to replace the halogen spots on the bumper...

I like them a lot! That's my next wage packet already spent then.....

Think if SWMBO saw them fitted to mine after doing the light bar, my life might not be worth living will have a to wait a good few months I reckon.....

I like the roof bar and think that the ones on the back are really good as I was thinking mine are a bit poor.

Do you get any bonnet glare,all mine did was light up my dash,windscreen and bonnet.

I get less with the LED's than the halogens, but I also have the transformer decal I made on the bonnet that also helps reduce glare

You will get glare unless you paint the bonnet with a non-reflective paint.....

I'm so pleased.....these LED lights are getting positive feedback as I have 4 fitted on my Disco 1 and are being wired in Wednesday, 1 got 2 Floods on rear and 2 spots on front.....getting all excited now!!
