Hi all!

I'm having a brain fart moment.

Snowy as hell here, roads are whited out totally.

Is it ok to drive in difflock high all day as long as theres snow under me? Will be doing upto 30mph but not more. Gotta drive the family to see a very ill Grandpa (cancer) on his birthday!

I'm fairly sure this is fine and was doing this all day yesterday in the snow, but suddenly had a worried moment and would like someone to tell me its fine!! :)

Heh, you've got the answer, but to reassure yourself ..

Find a small hill, wait till it's clear then drive down with CDL on at a steady speed, and try to brake and /or turn a little. Then take CDL off and see what happens when you brake or turn ... I take no responsibility if you do this ... ;)

There's little CDL can do if you'e going too fast anyway, but it DOES help immensely so long as you're sensible about it!

Haha cheers mate! I always put CDL in when approaching a hill or descending one in the slippy stuff, had lots of fun and experimenting yesterday up above Lake Vyrnwy, we were the only vehicle that had driven up that high! Also was impressed with the rear atb that I've just put in, you can feel it working on some of steeper ascent 's and is pretty amazing! Need to drop my psi a tad though!

Thanks for the info though matey! :)

Hehe! Yep its about 8" deep here, and still snowing lightly!

Makes me very much appreciate having done so much on the 90. Finally justifying all that time and energy etc with immeasurable laughs and awesomeness!! :)
