The problem starts, a while ago we had a drivers window shatter.
We stripped the door down and found the window channel as a rusted heap in the bottom of the door. We fetched & fitted a second hand glass from a local place (taken out of a Disco 1 with channel fitted) then the fun began.
The runners it fits onto are white nylon squares, the one at the rear of the door is a right piggy to get into the channel.
When you lower/raise the window this runner comes out of the channel & doesn't always go back in again (meaning a strip down of the door to close the window).
Does anyone have any ideas as to why?
