Drivers door lock

Advice needed please,disco 2 td5 Changed the drivers door lock mechanism door locks when I go above 4 mph but will lock or unlock on the remote any ideas please.

One of the options the D2 has, this facility can be removed if u don't like it.

I know,but my problem is the car won't lock or unlock on the remote keyfob,I have 12v power going to the lock side and the same to the unlock side.

Ok but u did say "will", failing of the remote lock/unlock function is not unknown, it is a symptom of an iffy receiver which can be located above the headlining.

Locks above 4mph eh. Mine never has. How does this affect MOT. Isn,t the door supposed to open from the outside for emergencies or does it unlock below 4mph?

if you program your door locks they will do the silly door lock thing,I am trying to find out why my door locks wont work.

mine unlocks all doors on engine off,and locks all doors on pulling away-overide switch on dash

sorry was supposed to say wont lock or unlock on the remote key fob
